Aplicare's Iodine Scrub is a gentle and effective surgical scrub with special detergents formulated to prevent dryness. It contains 7.5% Povidone Iodine USP, 0.75% available Iodine. Povidone Iodine is known to kill skin surface pathogens, including gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa and yeasts. It produces a rich golden lather the first step in patient pre-operative prepping, as well as for pre-and post-operative scrubbing by medical personnel.

Povidone Iodine Scrub is an antiseptic, microbicidal, sudsing skin cleanser containing synthetic detergents. It is a broad range non-selective, non-irritating microbicide that is water-soluble. This scrub has a buffered pH of 4.5.
